The US gave $20 billion to Argentina to prop up their economy. Guess what? Argentina has universal healthcare. Yet supposedly our country can't afford to even help people pay for private healthcare.

Trump also told them that they were victims and others (immigrants or the educated or trans people or whatever) were the reason their lives sucked. It's easier and more comfortable to blame others than to look inside yourself to figure out what you can do about your life.

With my Nordic ancestry, it always seemed unfair that they gave credit to Columbus rather than Lief Erickson, but of course, both of them discovered nothing except a continent that may have had a million people by the time they showed up. And Columbus didn't even find the continent.

He's getting "advanced imaging" even though he's exceptionally healthy. Uh huh. The R's wanted to go after Harris for allegedly concealing what she knew about Biden's mental condition, but nobody will do anything about a doctor who signs off on the lies Trump tells him to write.

She's upset over the pulling of subsidies because it affects her family specifically. So as usual, a Republican that doesn't care about what happens to the rest of us until it happens to them. But it is at least one departure from mindless Trump worship and 100% acceptance of Trump orthodoxy.

A family member has an incurable disease and the government has cancelled or sharply cut research dollars for treatment or cure of that disease. This is a story happening throughout the country, to all kinds of families, and will be a permanent legacy of Trump and Republicans.
