What is startling to me is the infection numbers are still high including death/organ damage numbers, yet people aren’t getting boosters, a whole species just shrugging their shoulders. If this was a sci-fi story COVID would be intelligent and changing people‘s brains to be complacent about it.

A fungus photo a day: 1/11 (Yes, I said eleven!) I found so many 🍄 yesterday but this was the most amazing, a whole colony of inkcaps/Coprinus!! Page down for the 10 photos I took and then at the bottom is a video of them all! Pretty cool!!!

I’m going to keep repeating that one reason why they are escalating violence is because they know they are wildly outnumbered.

It is a sign of weakness, not strength, that they are tear gassing and pepper ball shooting and slamming protestors to the ground and dragging them into facilities.

it actually offends me how sloppy and careless they are. anyone who’s ever been laid off knows the panic you feel when it happens. and while obviously it’s good that they backtracked, these are people’s fucking LIVELIHOODS they’re messing with.
