A woman gave me a kindness today. Went to an independently-owned baby store to buy a crib-sized mattress for my senior puppy Rosa, because dog beds just don’t hold up & it hurts my heart to see her so uncomfortable.
Not only did she not question why I was buying it, she gave me a 50% discount. 🥹💖

I’d add some veggies - carrots & peas, and maybe a little bit of some kind of leafy green like spinach - and serve it with a side salad, chips, or crisps

My solution is a little janky to be impermanent: wrapped the exterior perimeter of the overflow drain with caulk in tape form (plumbers tape would probably work) then applied actual caulk on top to seal it. There might also be caps or covers that can be screwed on, but I haven’t gone that route yet

One of the nicest things I’ve done for myself lately is covering my bathtub’s overflow drain. I live alone so there’s no danger of overflowing. Now I have a small soaking pool in my bathroom & that’s the softness I need when I feel I must retreat to water like the bog witch I am.
