I want things to make sense. The USA is turning me into a militant Black woman. I want to talk about hot British guys and ignore arrogant ignorant people.

WHAT?!
Morgan State University is one of the first colleges in the country to create its own sovereign artificial intelligence system. The university will soon run entirely on the AI, called Obsidian, which will advise students and grade assignments.

Morgan State could one day run entirely on AI
The historically Black college may be one of the few universities in the country, perhaps even the world, that has its own sovereign AI.

It’s blowing my mind that schools, universities, public services would run headlong into this. We spent 15 years documenting black boxes. This is a black box in a black hole!
I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

Alright I’ll say it.

She’s not completely wrong. It might not look that deep, but it never does until we see the outcome. I can easily see this trend turning into a red pill pipeline the same way that video game steaming was used as a pipeline to turn young men into conservatives.
They starting discourse on the clock app and the bird app because Black Gen Z men wanna wear quarter zips…
Now they’re saying “dressing professional” doesn’t mean much… they’re aspiring to “whiteness”…
It’s not that deep… let black men & boys enjoy things without a think piece…

My hot take is that over the next 10 years, we're going to see more emphasis on and investment in the humanities at Ivy League and other fancy schools just as state schools and small privates continue to decimate and even eliminate the humanities.
"While other universities report that the humanities are shrinking, at Berkeley, the opposite is true. The music major is the fastest-growing major on campus. We are finding bigger classrooms because film is exploding. English is back to the numbers we saw 15 years ago. We are hiring" bit.ly/4ohKuOe

I think one of the things that makes me the most Unhinged is that the government is dragging people from their homes in the middle of the night, ramming people with their cars and shooting them for fun, and everyone is just doing the same discourses we always have

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

The Reuters article is more illustrative than the headline of course, but “DOGE doesn’t exist anymore” is a misleading premise because more than 100 former DOGErs have become deeply embedded in federal agencies to generally fuck around with our data and arbitrarily disrupt budgets.

All this to say that Elon is a white supremacist mass murderer and DOGE was not a failure. It functioned as designed. I wish people would cover this accurately. It's not difficult.

A suitable nickname would be Elon '88' (deaths per hour). And that's just from the DOGE cuts, it doesn't include his deathbox vehicles.

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

And it's a story that illuminates the ways the U.S. is failing to control what could become the next pandemic. 🧵
