Following a "starter pack" was the worst idea possible. The promise was to follow accounts posting about subject "x", the reality is a bunch of accounts posting everything but "x", including subjects I dislike, stuff I intentionally block or even worse. These are not curated lists 😩

I had to disable sandbox in Claude Code. It was essentially the source of all my issues. A sandbox is useless if it doesn’t know how to work around it. Some tests were skipped simple because they had issues from inside it and were not retried without sandbox (thankfully CI catches these).

I fell for it too. This gave me the opportunity to try FastMail and realise it wouldn't offer me anything more than GMail (on the other side: I would loose a lot of feature). I also can't get rid of Google account for many other reasons so I guess I'm sticking with it 🤷🏻♂️
since the "google is now training gemini on your email contents" thing keeps bumping around here: it's _not happening_. I say this not to defend google but because I know a lot of people that have broken their filtering and made their lives much more annoying from sheer misinformation.
