I have been thinking about this a lot lately, especially since mine is in elementary and asking questions about the news, sometimes crying about unfairness experienced at school because of expectations I instilled in her.

But, we update our talks regularly. It's never a one-and-done lesson.

My first live drawing session in my new recycled sketchbook went very well. I loved the speedy 5-minute ones in the middle. It was hard to use large, clunky chalk/pastels on a small and rough surface, but I ran with it.
