A lot of extra snowfall and freezing rain this year, has resulted in a thick layer of ice in the yard, especially with this weeks warmer temps. Even the boys arent liking it, but have now discovered an area of gravel path where it’s melted beside the house! 🎉 🤸♀️

Crazy, crazy weather. Went from mid -20˚c’s a week ago, to freezing rain, and now today, +10˚c 😳 Was beautiful to enjoy the warmth, but also a very messy, icy, slushy and puddly kind of walk. Did see a couple of coyotes running down the centre of the pond along the way.

We reached 11˚c today.... in the middle of January 😳. Definitely too nice to stay inside, so did a family walk, through the mess of melting snow, that we received record amounts of, in December. Was very slow going, but a gorgeous sunny, warm day otherwise.
