Yeah man, come on by! We’re casting real actors for all the human Loony Tunes.
I know it's trite to say the Stranger Things kids are getting old. but boy I just saw them for the first time in a while and they are getting OLD. I watched the second season on like my second date with my wife and two days ago our son turned five.

Being Canadian is getting a small frisson of excitement when you find out something you like is filmed in Canada even when it’s on the other side of the country and Studio City Hollywood is literally closer to where you live.

Ever since it came up on the Llewelyn Davis blank check I keep coming back to: “yeah, Griffin should get a vocal coach and do Little Shop” he would get that nebbishness that I am always looking for but so seldom see in castings.

When is the right age to explain to my son about his C-section birth and the end-around it gives him in matters of prophecy and destiny?

If the AI bubble crashes the economy and we don’t even get 5090 RTX cards at bargain basement prices out of it. I’m going to be pretty peeved.

Ah, the unmistakable sounds of Christmas [the high pitched whine of a small air compressor keeping a twelve foot tall illuminated Santa inflated.]

I don’t think there’s any movie actually set where I’m from, but they did film First Blood like thirty minutes from my home town and they didn’t even change the name of the town so… kinda.

What’s the point of doing Thomas the Tank Engine with computer animation? It’s like trying to spice up your magic act by using after effects.

Love with the way Stompin’ Tom Connor’s pronounces “potatoes”

My neighbour tells me bird flu keeps killing his ostriches so I asked him how many ostriches he’s quarantined and he said he was just letting them get herd immunity so I said it sounds like he was just infecting ostriches with bird flu and then his Gen-Z Dutch syrup merchant started crying.

You know John Wick was killing so many dudes at this thing.
He said "Amen" straight into the drop

Lmao Pope Leo threw a rave for an archbishop's 75th birthday this is kind of incredible

It never comes up but you gotta assume Hermey is responsible for a lot of these messed up toys
November 22, 2025 at 1:31 AM
If they had been making them today all the Rankin Bass Christmas specials would have been in the same canon and it would have been a mess.

They say Herbie is a misfit but he’s working on a pretty straightforward wagon or cart and every other elf is working on some inscrutable amalgam of shapes.

I was thinking about who has the most Lego minifigures of them. Not individual sets or variants, but person with the most distinct, live action characters who have minifigures made, and the answer not to get all clickbait, legitimately shocked me.

When you have a long dream about work you should be able to clock out early the next day for time served.

Boysenberries were probably named by somebody who didn’t know what kind of berries they were and wanted plausible deniability in case the worst happened.

You couldn't make Muppet Knives Out because only like three muppets are capable of murder and they already used two of them on the Liza Minelli episode.
Am I a hypocrite for wanting this after giving a hard no to muppet knives out
Okay, I'm making my case for the only Muppet I want to see on Broadway right now...

I love the term “shooting iron”. It’s a word that say “yeah we have guns, but theyre still novel enough that we remember when we didn’t. It’s like “mobile phone”

Somebody on here was calling Sam Eagle a a social liberal fiscal conservative a while ago and like, no he wasn’t.
He was literally the self appointed censor. his main thing was gate keeping what counted as legitimate art and being disdainful of the counterculture.

“First we lobby the government to make filing taxes more complicated, that way everyone will have to use the ai that we’re going to buy for a hundred million dollars.”
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.
