The NFL paused its accelerator program for minority coaches and executives this year.

Meanwhile, the Vikings’ program led by assistant coach Mike Pettine is still going strong.

The battle between Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores and Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold will be a key in Sunday's game at Seattle

Brian Flores: Seahawks QB Sam Darnold is "one of my favorites" as far as players he's been around. "We had a great rapport" in his one Vikings season. "Thought he grew tremendously when he was here ... those things are continuing to show up for him" in Seattle

"But we will blitz him this week."

J.J. McCarthy reported symptoms to the team and has been placed in the concussion protocol, Kevin O'Connell announced just now.

"Too early" to tell if he'll be available Sunday in Seattle. Max Brosmer will take first-team reps until McCarthy is cleared to return.

Jordan Love opening throwing lanes with his eyes. Eric Wilson reading Love's vision and gets duped on the 18-yd catch and run that set up the Packers' opening TD.

Love did a similar thing to Byron Murphy Jr.'s zone coverage on third-down, 12-yd throw to Watson

Among other things, dropping edge players have caused McCarthy issues on sideline throws. He stuck on first read, Addison (bottom), for a bit too long on this 3rd and 12. Vikings end up w/ 3 guys on Parsons, interior twist causes some heat + Nailor isn't seen w/ good leverage downfield

After J.J. McCarthy's first pass, a 15-yard throw to Jefferson, center Ryan Kelly and left tackle Christian Darrisaw slide left and rookie guard Donovan Jackson does not. Micah Parsons hits the gap created by that apparent mistake.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Three quarters. That's how long the Vikings' starting offensive line played together this season before more injuries struck the group.

Donovan Jackson tells me "nothing is broken" with injured ankle, but an MRI was to come today www.startribune.com/vikings-vs-p...

I know man, but I got mouths to feed
Doesn't matter a whole lot at this point, season's lost

Ivan Pace Jr. said postgame that he was called off the field by a coach ... said he was supposed to be on the field, still isn't sure why he was told to leave. Vikings ended up burning a timeout.
Referee Carl Cheffers announces over the in-stadium speakers that "the 11th player was running off the field," referring to LB Ivan Pace Jr. bolting on Green Bay's field goal attempt.

Vikings coaches got a timeout in before the penalty. McManus makes a 32 yarder and it's 10-3, Packers

Christian Darrisaw suffered an ankle, not a foot injury, Kevin O'Connell said postgame. Darrisaw declined comment.

"There's nothing broken" with guard Donovan Jackson's ankle injury, he told me, but he'll undergo further testing tomorrow.

Vikings fall to 4-7 with the 23-6 loss in Green Bay. Their 3-0 lead in the first quarter was the only time they led today.

The Vikings' starting five offensive linemen didn't see the field together until today, the 11th game.

Christian Darrisaw just joined Donovan Jackson on the sideline for the rest of the game. He's got a new injury: a foot issue.

How's Sam been this season? Anyone hear from him? (/s)
Against the QB we could have had next week. That will be … something
November 23, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Adam Thielen dropped a pass. J.J. McCarthy took another bad sack. The Vikings punted again. At least the next game will be after Thanksgiving, signaling a merciful end coming soon to this season.
November 23, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Blake Brandel has replaced Donovan Jackson at left guard. Jackson was seen limping on the previous drive.

Green Bay is in clock-churning mode, handing off seven straight times for 43 yards. The Vikings trail 20-6 with 12 minutes left in regulation. The Packers have held onto the ball for over 13 minutes of the nearly 18 minutes that have ticked away in the second half.

What was the last play on a pass that a Vikings defensive back made?
November 23, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Woof. Myles Price blocked into the punt after waving off teammates near his own goal line.

Leads to a Packers recovery and, two plays later, a Green Bay rushing touchdown.

Vikings trail 17-6 with 10:53 left in the third quarter.

Price's second turnover on special teams in the last 3 weeks
