For math it's nearly impossible to form the majority of a field and have the rest be footnotes, but it's possible to recede from 90% down to "just" 10% in 200 years of advancement. That's Euler for ya

Number theory certainly isn't *full*, we have no idea if there are infinitely many primes for which p and p+2 are both prime, but many sectors of it are either "full" or "beyond our understanding"

With only the thinnest recreational experience in mathematics I'm usually *against* the idea this sort of thing is possible, there's *always* some new generalisation and generalising old questions is in fact the whole engine of mathematics... but Euler is impossible to ignore even at our vantage
