I have said this before, I will say this again: arming the Ukrainians to defend themselves is the best bang-for-buck in defense spending in decades.

Give Ukraine munitions and they will reliably put those explosives on America's enemies.

Just not on Trump's enemies and thus the problem.

Looking at my water bills since 2007, the cost of a m^3 of water has gone from £0.99 to £2.47 (249%) and waste water has gone from £0.48 to £1.54 (320%). Inflation went up 70% in the same period. Thames Water is taking the piss in more ways than one & the government is letting them get away with it.

Hopefully we have seen the last of Jake Paul's boxing career. But I doubt it. I suspect a broken jaw isn't enough to stop his desparate need for attention.

Sad that the BBC spends so much effort pandering to the people who are determined to destroy it. Infinite Monkey Cage won't be the same without @robinince.bsky.social .
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

'Bugonia' is definately not your average hollywood fare. Worth seeing if you like your dark comedy more dark than comedy.

Please remember that the disgust people have over Christopher Columbus is not based on some modern, 21st century “woke” ideology, but rather on contemporaneous accounts of atrocities that make many modern genocides appear quaint in comparison.

Below, are the accounts of Bartlomé de las Casas.
