Arthrex on Game Day, lol

Johnny Mateer is not healed at 17 days. Not saying it will fail, but the biology there is not stable enough at this point. Metal is there to compress and allow for faster, more predictable healing; it doesn’t replace healing.

Hope he is getting good advice.

The ER only hospital, where getting dispo’d “upstairs” means something totally different
pedsortho.bsky.social
What so many non-medical people have memory-holed about peak-covid is that beyond-capacity ICUs/ERs brought the entire system to a halt. Inelasticity in high-acuity settings is always a crisis for hospitals, where almost every specialty relies on acute care services. Get vaccinated, people.

Leaving Paris today. The Sargent special exhibit in the D’Orsay and the Weil special exhibit in the Orangerie are great.

We all know someone who claimed to be gluten intolerant but would be absolutely fine housing a bowl of pasta without repercussions. Just because a person claimed to be something they weren’t doesn’t mean that the thing doesn’t exist.

Transphobes believe that the very rare exceptions prove the rule.

“I’m strong and I want to have like fifty kids and a farm” of course you do. You’re twelve. “I don’t want to eat vegetables I think steak and French fries is the only meal” hell yeah homie you’re twelve. “Maybe if there’s crime we should just send the army” bless your heart my twelve year old buddy

More propaganda with painfully normal people zip-tied at the side of the road please, this will for sure convince the American people that you're the good guys

I know I shouldn’t care, but there’s something about centering one’s self in a shared space of beauty and reflection that bothers me.

Been at L’Orangerie in Paris for 45 minutes and have seen three dozen women take the same posed picture (semi-profile looking seriously at the Water Lillies), each probably thinking, “This will make me appear serious.” Basic as hell.

Almost nine years of this, and I am not sure that anything will wake comfortable centrists from their slumber
Facebook post from Feb 1, 2017 over pictures from the Birmingham, AL student protests.

Black History Month starts tomorrow, and it got me thinking. Many of my friends lead comfortable lives. They have reached a station in life where they can ride out the day-to-day nonsense and be an observer.
The same could have been said for those who heard about the troubles that African Americans were having in the South in the 1960s. It wasn't until students got involved, and images like these were splashed across the pages of Northern newspapers and magazines, that a critical mass became "uncomfortable" with the direction of the country and things started to change.
You can stay comfortable. Your life, and the lives of most of your family and friends will not change. But the vulnerable members of our society will suffer; and you will have to decide if you are comfortable with that.

The top two images are almost certainly Robert O’Neill. The bottom one is almost certainly photoshopped. If we are going to call them out for their lies, we have to do better.

Guys, every person you see on Fox News in a mask is just Robert O'Neill, retired Navy Seal and occasional Fox News contributor. He's the former Antifa, former Gazan, former gang member. His eyes are very unique.

I think the reason they were so eager to believe and promulgate the idea of a global child SA ring is because they were so deeply involved in one. They just thought that if they were doing it, everyone else was, too.

A Texas megachurch pastor and GOP leader has been arrested for crimes against children. Not Robert Morris, a different one. Not Josiah Anthony, a different one. Not Luke Cunningham, a different one. Not Tony Evans, a different one. Not Scott Crenshaw, a different one. Not Steve Lawson, a different o

A lot of the folks looking around and suddenly saying, “This shouldn’t be happening in America,” were also the people who fiercely rebutted the idea that demonizing trans people was a stepping stone on the way to fascism.

Once they knew that they could label some of us as expendable, anything goes.

Do I think OSU is the team to beat? Yeah, they’re the undefeated National Champs. Does their Texas win bolster that? Hell no.

True. Nothing better than a practice squad guy who gained fame in preseason slowing up in October. However, Austin Booker should have had tons of playing time, but got injured in the preseason
pedsortho.bsky.social
The stickiness of polls before October is the dumbest thing ever. Preseason ranks are a crap shoot. Penn State was upset, but they were far from the 7th best team. It’s week 5 and they still don’t have a Power 4 win. September’s polls should be chaos. Teams should enter and leave Top 25 constantly
pedsortho.bsky.social
True. Bears are 2-2. Their four best CB have a combined five starts. The DE that led the preseason (I know) in sacks hasn’t played yet.
