@mynameisblueskye.blacksky.app Hi Skye, I did a Google search for a review of the latest SARN album, and your review popped up. I was like, “Hey, I know this writer!” Great job: everydejavu.com/blog/sarn-is...

Been reviewing albums (approx two a month) for Survivng the Golden Age for just over ten years. I’ve never given an album a perfect score. Just handed in my first 10/10. @stgablog.bsky.social

Jette is good people. She’s also a good artist and a new friend. Please follow her main Bsky profile (below) and her art profile here: @ninjettenine.bsky.social Thank you!
Welp. I misread a situation on the internet, threw out some verbal fisticuffs, and

Then we talked it out and now we're friends.

(Not sorry)

((About the making a friend part))

Pat Healy in the film is the only accurate representation of what Boing Boing (the zine, not the website) used to call Unhappy Mutants -- angry, sarcastic young men in alternative scenes who were "ironically" fascistic.

Turned out there were a lot of them and the web supercharged them.

I realized that I was so eager to tell @therachel.bsky.social about my being a concert know-it-all for last week’s show that I neglected to mention that the concert itself answered her call to action- it was Aimee Mann’s “Lost in Space” anniversary tour where she only sang songs from that album!
Ep 411 is up! Andy eats a cookie & talks about Pyjama Man’s latest antics & Tracy Morgan singing U2. On Rachel’s Chart Chat, Rachel from Des Moines (@therachel.bsky.social) shares listener stories of full-album concerts, follows RATM across the pond & looks at a Christopher Cross singles collection.

Finished Unfit by Ariana Harwicz. A novella-size tale told from the perspective of a woman who’s only allowed to see her kids once a month during supervised visits. She sets her in-laws’ barn on fire & drives away with her twin boys. Great prose. The story moves like a wild bottle rocket. Liked it.
