The passing of #RichardSwift at just 41 was an absolute tragedy. Far too often labelled as a sideman, he had the voice, the songwriting chops and the musical skill to rival any of the acts he enhanced. Evident here on this comp from 2024. I miss him immensely. #Fridayvinyl #VinyCommunity #Vinylwky

I noticed the #FieryFurnaces debut made a few appearances in a list of 2003 top LP's a few weeks ago. I received the CD as an Xmas gift that year and it wasn't far from my ears for a few months after. Having a revisit on vinyl after about 20 years since I last spun it.. #Fridayvinyl #VinylCommunity

You're not missing much tbf. A tired old ground to say the least, but it's home..He's not lined up, but there's always room for Roddy. I must admit, my heart sank and I did a quick Google search when you mentioned him. Wish he'd at least confirm he's packed it in or new stuff and/or gigs are coming.

Definitely, and a midfield general. Yes, on the whole it's probably one of the best grounds in the NL. You made plenty of noise, our infrequent chants were lost to the open air! All the best for the cup tomorrow mate.👍

The result was disappointing for a start, we had a few decent chances but lacking in the final third and ultimately outclassed. As for the ground experience, thankfully the weather stayed clement. No alcohol, the snack bar ran out of snacks before k.o. and the two cubicles were a tad insufficient.

It's been a while since I delved into #Spiritualized's back catalogue. Rectifying that oversight with 2012's oft forgotten and massively underrated "Sweet Heart, Sweet Light". "Hey Jane" has always been a cracking up-lifter and remains in the live set to this day. #Fridayvinyl #VinylCommunity
