In the days that followed Miles took comfort in the fact that Gumshoe was making progress. He allowed himself to relax and focus back on his work. He still has a lot of things to do before the full transition of power was completed.

Eventually he calmed down, was able to get back into his work mindset, even if still a little on edge. He was determined to complete his job.

He just wanted a smooth transition. To be able to get started on work without issue. But now he has a detective coaching him through a breathing exercise while his office is investigated.

He's been promoted.
Chief Prosecutor, complete with a new office and new job role. There's some relief after what happened to his previous office.

With all the moving and preparing for his new role his previous anxiety is long forgotten. For now.
