I went out on the pier with the family of my friend from school.

She recently died from cancer.

Her wish were, to have her ashes scattered in the sea by her hometown Løkken.
Yesterday, her children honored this wish.

80 years ago,tonight,the German troops in Denmark surrendered. So tonight and tomorrow we celebrate those who resisted. And honor those who fell.
My dad and I drove to Børglum Monastery. To see a Hercules fly by and drop cargo,as the British did during WW2, to supply the resistance with weapons.
