I guess the comparison to puzzleshipping lies in there being a need for both sides to strike a balance or reach an equilibrium and despite the lines Yoru crossed and Asa's recognition of Yoru as a threat, they're still dependent on each other for what the other provides them for better or worse

Yeah, I think in the case of bakura, ryou's obliviousness of his yami persona is precisely what makes yami bakura so threatening since there's no one to hold him back and ryou himself is pretty unassuming. (even yami marik is ultimately taken down through marik's own resistance)

im qrt bc i want you to see this, the aeta/ati people are completely invisible in modern filipino culture- they are at best invisible, at worst mocked, insulted, discarded. you will see NO representation of this indigenous group anywhere, thats why i wanted Wayda to be indigenous
