I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.

Most peeps are stacking debt and are not able to keep up with monthly payments and you can't leave a job that you don't like because no one else hiring. Instead of "day one" it's maybe next year or even the year after that when the economy will get better. www.wsj.com/politics/pol...

There's a healthcare crisis approaching and it seems our federal delegation here in Nebraska is blind to it. Mid-October we will learn how much our monthly premiums will increase and open enrollment begins Nov. 1st. Our family of 4 currently pays $2k A MONTH. @nytimes.com
