I've documented three movie threads on Twitter, so, while this is technically my fourth one overall, this is my first one on Bluesky.

As usual, any films I watch that were released in preceding years will be documented here. I look forward to what's in store for me this year.

15 years ago today, #MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic premiered on the Hub/Discovery Family. As quite possibly the most revolutionary cartoon of the 2010s, it broke the norm of taking a mainly female-oriented franchise, and made it appealing to everyone, and the rest is history.

I just had my first ever experience with the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier. My friend and I played a demo of Mario Kart World at a Target, and we did one of the intermission tracks; I got first place, while my friend got second. It was pretty fun, and I can’t wait to own one soon.

I saw #GoodBoy earlier today, and this was an interesting film that puts a horror spin on the idea that dogs often see things that humans do not. For how minimalist it was, given that it is an indie film, it sure packed quite a punch with its execution.

UPDATE: I got my account back. I was informed by a mod about which of my taglines are considered fake. Apparently, only taglines on posters count; DVD covers don't count.

I now have to take this into consideration the next time I make an edit.

Unbelievable.

My account on The Movie Database has been suspended for "inserting fake taglines". Either I was suspended for editing too fast or someone reported me just to laugh at my expense; I can guarantee none of my edits come close to vandalism.

20th Century Studios Animation has officially announced that a second Simpsons Movie is finally happening and revealed it’ll be released on July 23, 2027! I was not expecting this at all knowing a follow up has been in development hell for two decades, but I am very interested!
