Absolutely this. Please can we invest in supporting families to enable them to give their children a healthy start in life. Affordable housing, food, access to outside space to play and so much more. Invest in education for all children that is inclusive and meets children’s needs…
Plenty studies showing that your postcode is a better predictor of your health outcomes than your genome.
The BBC & Telegraph are trailing Wes Streeting’s technophile health plans, including genomic mapping at birth.
Is this really gonna transform the NHS into a prevention service within 10 yrs, as Wes claims? For v rare genetic conditions, praps. But for the real burden of disease?

Thoughts, #medsky?

she agreed with an argument put forward…that it is "risky or …intimidating" to have a space designated for women, that is occupied by men.
"But that applies to me too," she added.
"That danger is all the more…one woman - in an entirely male space in a drunk pub.”

We are incredibly grateful to our friends and allies.

Each of these organisations has issued statements of support for the #SASsix campaign.

What we have in common is a belief that supporting every doctor to reach their potential is good for services and patients, as well as these doctors.

We need to change this and ensure our ‘judgement’ is equitable…

Really pleased to see this HSSIB report published - we've come a long way in the last decade to try to emphasise how much fatigue affects healthcare delivery in the NHS, and how under-recognised this still is

Hopefully this helps encourage further action
