The lawyers whom Tr*mp has forced into court to prosecute Comey, in violation of law, facts, and ethics, will be destroyed. He ruins the people who refuse to obey him, and he is ruining the people who do obey him. The only answer is to join the resistance.

The Network Formerly Known as MSNBC says Dump is considering firing Kashyap Patel. Patel was confirmed by a vote of only 51-49 (two R senators voted with the Ds not to confirm). I haven’t heard that anyone has grown to like him better now.

Just to be clear, the UCMJ Art. 90 (10 U.S.C. 890) provides:
[Lawfulness of the order.]
(i) Inference of lawfulness. An order requiring the performance of nance of a military duty or act may be inferred to be lawful, and it is disobeyed at the peril of the subordinate. This inference does not /

By making the outrageous statement that members of Congress should be killed for reminding soldiers that they shouldn’t obey illegal orders, Tr*mp got us all talking about him again. He considers this “owning the libs.” He does it again and again.

📌NOTE: A sick and demented president calling for the death of political opponents is exactly why these politicians felt it necessary to remind our military not to follow illegal orders from a sick and demented president.

House and Senate Republicans had a little taste of freedom from the orange felon when they voted to make him release the E files. I wonder whether they’re starting to sense that they can cut themselves loose from him and get some of their power back as a coequal branch of government.

A lot of people think Tr*mp will now say the E files can’t be released, because they’re the subject of an ongoing investigation [*of Democrats*] [* which he just ordered DoJ to do*]. So why not just release the parts of the files that aren’t about Democrats??

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I think the wheels are starting to come off the Dump Train. Kind of apprehensive about what might replace it, but in general I tend to be an optimist. People don’t like to admit that they were conned and stolen from, but they’re noticing.

Too few people are talking about the fact that for eight years (2011-2019), while Jeffrey Epstein was raping young girls and trafficking them to hundreds of other rapists from his home base in Palm Beach, Florida, the Florida district attorney was Pam Bondi. Connect the dots.

Mike Johnson refused to swear in Adelita Grijalva for 7 weeks after she won her election by about 40 points. Mitch McConnell refused to give Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, even a hearing for most of a year. Sen. Tommy Tuberville blocked all military nominations for 10 months /

The Dems are already fighting about the vote that may result in reopening the government. Most of the Senators voted no, but a few voted yes and it passed; a lot of people are calling the latter group sellouts. Have they forgotten that we’re a big tent and we don’t let the perfect /

Cruelty beats compassion again. Dump and his pet Republicans bet that Dems couldn’t hold out when they were starving whole families and withholding medicine when children and elderly were sick. They were just hostages. Their pain was just Republican leverage.

“Children are starving to death.”
“We were getting close to a cure for cancer.”
“America is losing respect and leadership in the world.”
“Farmers will lose their farms.”
“Families need health care.”
Why don’t these pleas move Tr*mp?
Because he doesn’t give a shit. He only cares about himself.

Tuesday was not “satisfying.” It was energizing! Now that we have the leverage and the momentum, what are we going to do with them? Let’s get to work!
