People who want to make the web accessible need to understand the many different ways that people with disabilities use the web. This W3C resource offers a good introduction to how disabled people navigate the web, and barriers they commonly encounter.

Daily sketches and art experiments are considered a must-do for professional visual artists. What a difference to professional indie authors: Write every day to produce books and monetise every minute of your productivity.

Yréin & Raven
Drawing the girl scared me the most, so I finished her first and it wasn’t as bad as I feared 😅

Now on to Raven…

Side note: More than a dozen colours were used for her hair.

Emily Heller, an eyewitness, is speaking out to set the record straight. Officers were screaming at Renee Nicole Good, “Move, move, move.”

So she moved, and they shot her multiple times? Then Noem and Trump branded her a domestic terrorist. Does everyone see how absolutely insane that sounds?

The fact that nothing is being done about this — and that people keep blithely hanging out on that site as though its owner and a key part of its official architecture aren’t actively enabling disgusting criminal abuse at scale — is making me lose my mind
Every piece of reporting I've seen on this is drastically understating the scale. These are from Grok's replies within a single minute. Time-to-reply is degrading because it has such a backlog of NCII/CSAM requests to fulfill. Conservatively I estimate it is producing more than 5000 of these per day

I dared try to draw Yréin and Raven again - two main characters of a dark fantasy series I’m working on. And holy shite, pastels are awesome! 😳 These are still the base layers, and I’ll add fine details at the end.

This is like writing a book, in many ways. While the whole thing seems insurmountable, going feather by feather (or scene by scene) is doable and fun.

But then bringing it all together (shading in this case) is an entirely different beast. My brain is in knots 🥴

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.
