Board game designer and enthusiast. Trans professor. Sari wrap skirt lover. My game, Cretaceous Rails, launches its new crowdfunding campaign on October 14th on Gamefound!
When deciding which games to get rid of from my collection, I used to ask myself “Am I going to play this again?” or “Was this a fun game?” Now I ask myself, “Would I flee the country with this one?”

Played Trias on 2025-11-15. One of my Top 20 - I adore this obscure gem! This Yucata win moves me into #4 in the world. It's the only game I'm ranked in the Top 10 on any platform. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/4249

I am absolutely delighted that Middle and Old English are preferred language options on this intake form. Time to bust out that Chaucer and Beowulf knowledge and give the English major translators some contract interpreter work!

Played The Gang 3 times. Looking for a new challenge, we tried "Silent Mode" where we couldn't audibly communicate unless required by an effect. We lost two games, then dropped the rule for a third game so we could end the evening on a win, lol. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/41...

I've been celebrating each time Cretaceous Rails passes a Harry Potter-themed game on the overall BGG rankings, but as a former member of the LDS church, I also want to celebrate having now passed all 104 Book of Mormon-themed games in the database, ha ha!

36 years ago on this date, friends of ours were there at the site when the Berlin Wall came down and sent my family this little artifact piece of it as a keepsake of Reunification. I've kept it all this time and thought I'd share it across my social media today just because it's interesting!

Taught my mom group Amerigo. It’s a magical day when people get to play a Stefan Feld game for the first time! We started with this one because one of the moms just picked it up at a garage sale for $15.

Played Roam on 2025-11-07. After having played this at various player counts now, I think it's a far superior game at 2P. 4P is too chaotic. 2P enables players to get more cards faster and actually use their artifacts in interesting tactical ways. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/26... #bggplay

Played Aquatica on 2025-11-08. I rekindled my interest in this one with an online play a few weeks ago, but finally got my physical copy off my Unplayed Shelf yesterday. It's even better in physical plays - sliding those cards is so tactily satisfying! boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/28... #bggplay

Played Ghost Stories on 2025-10-31. One tough co-op was not enough for us! We survived until the Incarnation appeared, and then the third tile got haunted with not enough of us alive to be able to do anything about it. It was a gallant effort, though! boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/37...
