This seems to be a deal separate of ECM itself, as the first two ECM albums list out at 96K

(88.2k is old school audio standard, so it could be that Steve himself has something to do with these)

I should add that - as much as I can't stand audiophile sites/sales - since the ECM edition is no longer in print, Yr has been remastered as a 24/88.2k download - and it is a revelation. Fickin' incredible.

Also, it appears as an exclusive Apple Digital Master.

the new reissue of Funkadelic's 1st Album (thank you, Bob!), and my old Frammis LP of Steve Tibbetts Yr that has survived 6 cross-country moves & two hurricanes - the LP is open because nowhere on the cover does it say what it is

i'm using this week's #CDFriday to royally bitch at myself for not having ripped all these CDs to files before our 14-yr-old samsung monitor gave out & I had to rip the freaking studio desk apart just to replace it
