On the flipside of things, I firmly believe that if an independent candidate is running for election, any previous party memberships they had should be listed on the ballot. There are a lot of "independents" in my area who are basically former Conservatives who don't want to be associated.

Yesterday, Badenoch claimed that her favourite author was Terry Pratchett and that she has all of his books.
Since Pratchett wrote frequently about social justice and treating people fairly, I'd say that Badenoch hasn't actually read those books, so her views on English literature are worthless.

So now it's anti-Semitic to be angry with voters who refuse to condemn their leaders for war crimes? There are millions of Israelis who have taken part in demonstrations against Netenyahu's actions but there are many more who actively support him: are we not allowed to be justifiably angry at them?
