Today I turned 47 (light on my face the right way & you don't see the early stages of lines lol mindful of shadows 😅) ... My day, very exhausted because I couldn't sleep well last night, hopefully tonight is better.... Face Painting kids tomorrow....

Feel like I'm breaking my brain trying to get thro this accounting & bookkeeping for the past year... Me, talking to my dad on the phone this morning, he says to me "well you know what you need to do is your bookkeeping on a monthly basis so that's not so overwhelming when you have to do a year"😭😳🤦

Me, holed up in my apartment, forgetting the passage of time, stress-hyper-focused on bookkeeping/accounting for a year period bcuz procrastination (government); I see this video from a neighbourhood group I'm on fb (promo services) & remember I have no urge to go outside 😭😅🫣

Day 2 (in a row) of going to the gym again.... My new friend has a background in the army and martial arts, 7 years older than me, agreed to come be my body double for working out.... He's my polyamorous friend's boyfriend (I've known her since around 2009), he's thinking about becoming my roommate🙏

I bought a beautiful antique loveseat off marketplace tonight with new upholstery and stuffing, it was only used as decoration.... Feeling super grateful, I paid 1/5th of it's original price, from a retired couple downsizing in preparation for moving to a small home from a massive one...

Now that my grandma has broken the suicide cherry — MAID (medically assisted death) (she didn’t want to be in a wheelchair or on a constant pain medication routine), her pain levels qualified her under the newly broadened criteria; I’m completely sure my mother will go the same route. Matter of time

It's fucked the way my roommate (25yrs younger, renting from me 17 months) has been acting towards me: entitled & acting like a selfish bitch... New roommate who moved in late August doesn't like her due to her behaviours towards him. I would ask her to move but rental market dead till summer.
