Today I turned 47 (light on my face the right way & you don't see the early stages of lines lol mindful of shadows 😅) ... My day, very exhausted because I couldn't sleep well last night, hopefully tonight is better.... Face Painting kids tomorrow....

A two night mini holiday away from roommates, my normal life & responsibilities....It's unknown who or if anyone is joining me tomorrow (my birthday), trying to cheer myself up. Checking my attitude

Me, holed up in my apartment, forgetting the passage of time, stress-hyper-focused on bookkeeping/accounting for a year period bcuz procrastination (government); I see this video from a neighbourhood group I'm on fb (promo services) & remember I have no urge to go outside 😭😅🫣

Fog lifting from a damp November day in the Plateau — a fragile pause before the next rainstorm. Winter was already settling in, turning puddles to ice & beauty to danger overnight. For a moment, everything felt suspended, soft, like the whole neighborhood was holding its breath.

Fog, colour, and old architecture — my favorite mix. I couldn’t resist the purple house and the way the vibrant blue staircases stood out against the grey air. It was a mild day, but even in winter’s grip, the Plateau never loses its charm.

The fog hung low over the street that afternoon — well, my morning, technically. I was already taking photos when a cyclist suddenly whizzed into the frame, just as they passed the car turning out. A small flash of motion in an otherwise still, muted scene.
