Supporting the two pillars of civilization: Baseload Power and Education
Posts Media Videos Starter Packs

All the more reason to recruit critical infrastructure scientists, targeting #DevelopingCountries for sustainable #BaseloadPower, and making #BehavioralScience #CoreEducation.
Ya gotta have ethical people in critical positions of power; otherwise massive destabilization will eventually crash even the least overlapping economies of scale.
Now we're back to the taxes being passed down to the end user/consumer.

Capitalism: too much IS too much
Communism: too little IS too little

Make #BehavioralScience #CoreEducation or #BackIntoCaves

this is a nice rendering by @nickevershed.bsky.social but, er, it definitely shows coal power output remaining persistently high even as renewable energy grows, which feels like a problem

Unfortunately; plenty of the broligarchy are starting their own sourcing of grid power, fossil fuels or otherwise. They're also developing PUC's, crypto and AI data centers, and other ancillary byproducts that leave the general consumer on the lowest/least value tier.

Abuse of power lives on.

'Scientists warn that the North Atlantic subpolar gyre is approaching a critical tipping point.

🌀 The gyre’s instability could lead to extreme weather events and altered precipitation patterns.

📊 Research using clam shell data indicates historic instability similar to current trends.'
Rachel, you can join the movement in re-establishing a middle range/party in US politics, as the bipolar, overextended duopoly has gone fully divide-and-conquer, in oppressing more profits for the 1% broligarchy/fossil fuels industry.

Kudos to the Catholic Church for proclaiming evolution as fact.

More flooding in Valencia, Spain
"THE WORLD IS GETTING TOO HOT FOR
US TO COPE"
Mediterranean at 30 degrees in summer = Cévennes episode in autumn
Boiling ocean = evaporation
Evaporation = flooding
Flooding = destruction + ☠️
Massive flooding caused by extreme rainfall in Carcaixent in the province of Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸 (11.10.2025)

Lookin’ at you, 4 of every 10 fields of US corn that are planted to make ethanol to feed traffic.
NEW: Biofuels globally emit more than the fossil fuels they replace, our latest study shows.

The first-of-a-kind study looks at global biofuels production today and the potential impacts of government biofuel targets.
🧵⤵️
Corn doesn't burn clean enough for mass transit.

It was fine, decades ago, for graduating fuel oil.

The fossil fuels industry abusing power?..

Imagine that.
Depends if China is importing Canadian value to balance the exchange range. This *should* be basic economics.

Yesterday in Central Argentina, #dust and #smoke mixed because coincident & different air masses. Winds from the W went over the Andes and fanned fires in the Cordoba province hills. Smoke remain relatively high. Same time a lower cold front from the south lifted dust plumes (brownish).

So, for all those who love the Finger Lakes: a b*tcoin miner plans to turn the old retired coal plant on Cayuga Lake (just north of Ithaca) into a hyperscale data center.

A bunch of us worked for years to shut down that coal plant—and won in 2019.

Ok but they aren’t “critics” within the scientific community. They are the actual oil industry and the think tanks that work on their behalf. And “linking” refers to source and impact attribution science which quantifies human influence on extreme weather events. 1/4

A convective, and per TAFB/NHC non-frontal, 1010 hPa low has formed over South FL. Per OPC, gale force winds already exist to its northeast.

The cyclone should move north along the coast on succeeding days. 🐻⌚️
