The weak response from Can, EU and UN to Trump's flagrant crimes in Venezuela is striking.

It exposes that much of the world has been cowed.

Most notable exception: the Latin American left.

That is why the Trump Admin has gone to enormous lengths to defeat the left across the continent. 1/3

I’m hitting the road for town halls across the country to meet, debate, organize – maybe even sing & dance – & grow the joyful, people-powered movement we need to win.

Happy New Year!

It's invisible to casual observers and the mainstream media, but something is stirring in this NDP leadership race: hope.

It's a fragile thing, and the times we're living in aren't giving us much reason. But a better future is possible - and it's ours if we build it together.

While working people get crushed by the cost of everything, we know where the money is—it’s stuck at the top.

We need a government with the courage to go and get some of it for all of us. A wealth tax of 1% on the 1% could raise as much as $40B a year.
