A couple of years ago I learned of a Creative on Twitter who was being harassed via their google request form: which has no IP tracking on submissions, so there is no mechanism to report abuse. In response, I created forms.23rdlegion.com as free alternative resource.
Connecting Artisans to their Audiences in a Safe, Self-Controlled Environment - 23rd Legion - Forms
The Forms arm of 23rd Legion was born out of a necessity for safety and control in the data gathering process sorely needed by today's Creatives who may not have the best options to protect themselves...

Empire of the Dawn by @misterkristoff.bsky.social might be the best wrap-up of a series that I have ever read. My jaw is still on the ground, and I've read through the conclusion twice.

one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

Plurb1us might be the most New Mexican thing I’ve ever watched. Angry as shit at everything, but Carol still waves at everyone who says “Hi Carol.”

Doing a rewatch of Stranger Things before the new season comes out, and I’m just blown away by how earnest the kids are all at the beginning. I see why I fell in love with this series.

OK, authors, you have the assignment.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

John Oliver's season finale was great, glad he focused on public media, and how important it is to fund. Red states tend to benefit from it the most.

He has an auction site up to help raise money, johnoliversjunk.com, which even has an actual Bob Ross painting on it (but it's at 1 million).

Watching the new episode of Plur1bus, and only Vince Gilligan would throw an old Datsun into an NM based show. I know huh?

Don’t you hate it when an inanimate object goes passive aggressive on you? When I restart my laptop, it always restarts with numlock off, so when I’m banging in my password, it’s always wrong because my ten-key isn’t actually numbers. I have cussed out loud, many times, because of it.

Vague-posting, but I’m working on some insanely exciting projects right now, at work, and on the side, that will have some great impact on the DFW community. Seriously chuffed. Big things are coming.

A few of you know that I'm involved with the Oak Cliff Sandlot league because my girlfriend plays on the East Dallas Boozehounds. I'm on the broadcast team, and it's a grand time. I've made some amazing friends in the past 2 years. Everyone is incredibly supportive. Get some sandlot in your life

My reading tends to lean, generally, towards grimdark, fantasy, and science fiction, but, this year, it's sitting firmly in horror. I've read more witchy and vampire novels than any year prior. Taking me back to my younger days when I just couldn't get enough of it.

Is anyone really shocked that real criminals are dressing up like ICE agents to commit actual crimes? That seems like a total no-brainer to me.

When I see the phrase "great for kids and adults" in marketing copy, I always wonder who they are trying to exclude.

I always enjoy reading reviews of books that I've reviewed. Especially on Goodreads. My conclusion is that some people just, honestly, don't like to read, but love to be critical.

After hearing about Beckham getting his K today, my buddy @jasroach.bsky.social said to our text group "We've heckled a knight!" My only response to it was "We so fancy." Honestly, when it came to the Galaxy, back then, Beckham got the most leniency from our vitriol. I'm lookin' at you Landy Cakes.
