A new rule I propose for future administrations: no more folks in that building, around POTUS, who are not confirmed by Congress. No more Millers, no more Kushners. If you're around POTUS, it's because Congress gave you their blessing.

I *wish* that things were in a good enough place that Obama mentioning that he believes aliens are real was the top story and something we could debate in earnest over or have a laugh about over a pint, knowing the government was functioning as intended.

I really do feel all of this madness is nurturing the ground for an AOC presidency. She would seem like a one in a million shot before, but I think as things get worse, her odds improve, as she offers a sane path out of the madness. I don't buy the argument she needs more time in Congress. Obama

🇮🇱 has universal healthcare and abortion is widely accessible and encouraged for problematic pregnancies. They don't consider a fetus a person (Halakha), not until you're actually born.
It is interesting to me how Republicans, who tend to worship 🇮🇱, are diametrically opposed to these policies here.

This. There were a million better things these warehouses could have been used for. Why does this country always choose misery and punishment as what it obsesses with?
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
