Alongside the University of Birmingham and University of York, we have been awarded £1.2 million in funding from the National Institute of Health Research to improve urgent and emergency care in rural coastal areas across the United Kingdom! This is led @arabellascants.bsky.social and Joy Adamson

We have 2 funded PhD studentships in the Evidence Based Surgery (EBS) Group:

1) evaluate multiple evidence-based interventions @ scale to improve outcomes for surgical patients.

2) measure & incorporate the role of surgical instinct in EBP.
