Liberal Turks seemingly failed to understand that the Kurdish issue has always been at the core of the HDP; without it, the HDP would be reduced to a marginal, insignificant progressive party in Turkey
A generation of young Turks who repeatedly voted for HDP to get them past the electoral threshold are currently realizing their parents were right all along about the nature of Turkish politics.

That 2 trillion likely wasn’t distributed evenly, and much of it probably comes from previous years
Turkey spend 2 Trillion USD according to Erdogan over a period of 47 years, thats in average 42 Billion USD / year.

This page provides the same information you would find on X when news breaks, but without all the hype. I see that as a major advantage. That said, I’ve also noticed the recent downturn here...
