High school art student turned techie, sometimes prone to recording music out of a closet. Tarot nerd. Former amateur stage magician and comedian. Heavily inspired by Andrew W.K. and positive partying.
The first year I went to the Warped Tour, Goldfinger couldn't okay and got replaced by Reel Big Fish. "Sell Out" was getting noticed but wasn't a huge hit. I loved "Everything Sucks" and made sure to see them with that 1996 lineup.

As a male in pagan spaces: There are reasons I've come out of relationships afraid of being touched.

None of you did that to me and you should never be held accountable.

No one's body should have never been a source of shame.

Block and unfollow are unfortunately necessary for my well being.

"Do you ever get the feeling that everything in America is completely fucked up?"

A present to myself.

It is my favorite movie, after all.

FedEx did deliver my record yesterday.

Yes, it was almost a week after the original estimated delivery date.

On the plus side, it arrived in wonderful shape.

In the past, I've had records show up partially warped or otherwise not okay. This one looks wonderful and plays great (so far).

Today I had the pleasure of conversing with someone else who calls a 12" platter with analog music information imprinted on it an "LP."

Day 9 of my delivery wait. The record I bought was going to be here Friday, 4 days ago. Then Saturday. Then, today.

It's in an alleged #FedEx warehouse 3 hours away. So, it's finally in the same state that I live in.

My new delivery date is pending.

I chat sometimes about the GATE theories because they genuinely fascinate me. They feel like a very real convergence of misappropriated youth & pop culture Montauk tales.

Mostly: I don't agree but I do sympathize.

"Why can't I be young while I'm young?"

"This will pay off later."

It never did.

I went deeper into the GATE program rabbit hole. This time they said that the hearing test tones were binaural signals meant to unlock psychic abilities.

I've been deaf in one ear my entire life. Maybe I should sue for discrimination. 😉

Break time while Helios took a nap, followed by music time. Helios has always been fascinated by this keyboard. #orangecat

Plan A was to try my hand at a rare cover song.

Then, when trying out different software synth presents, I found something that sparked a new idea. We'll see.

I never expected this Arturia Minilab to be such an incredible help. It's been extremely useful for many years.

9:50am. Turned on my #windows laptop to work on music. This is the laptop with the slow hard drive.

Updated have started from Adobe and MS Office 365. I have repeatedly uninstalled MS Office 365. Anti Malware is also running.

My goal is to work on music before lunch. We'll see.

Helios would prefer it if I let him cling to me all day. He is refusing to leave my side for any reason. I need to do chores, however.

He still takes care of me as much as I take care of him. He can cling if he wants.

I need to wash laundry and buy groceries. So, I turned on my Windows laptop at 10am in hopes that I can work on music by late afternoon.
It has a slower hard drive.
Let's see if the updates are finished before late afternoon. 😥

I recently rediscovered this anaglyph 3D photo I took of a deer at a small zoo. At that time, I had a tool which could export photos taken on a Nintendo 3DS into this red and cyan format.

My year ahead tarot spread for 2025 was filled with restriction and separation. Regrettably, the year felt very much like it turned out that way.
The 2026 reading looked more hopeful. But also, free will and personal decisions matter.

So, Guitar

When I was young, the pointless rite of passage was to learn on an entry level acoustic with strings that were a quarter inch off the fretboard.

Kids these days get an electric #guitar perfectly suited for surf rock when they want to learn heavy metal songs.

Please stop this nonsense.

From sometime who doesn't enjoy most chiptune: "Sunday Chill in Cosmos" by Please Lose Battle earns every second of its nine minute runtime.

It's one of those songs I can put on when feeling overwhelmed.

Mega Infinity posted the full music video for this song a few days ago, and I only just found out. It's very uncharacteristic of me to enjoy a song like this. It's just that good, though.

I'm seeing women in pagan spaces become disheartened by dudes who ask "what about men?" I've seen other women talk about metaphysical gender just to have strangers dump their personal, material complaints in the comments.

I've left pagan & adjacent spaces where slurs against men were commonplace.

He just wanted to sweep away every nation and every creed until the very planet was in the loving grip of the Pax Bisonica. And then peace will reign, and the world, and all humanity, would have bowed to him in humble gratitude.

What's not to like?!
