Do they teach this in journalism school? Are there classes where the lesson goes “the way to do headlines is uncritically repeat whatever officials say, regardless of veracity, that’s the job”?
And if they’re not taught that, if that’s not the field’s chosen standard, why do so many editors do it?

News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

In Haven, these two kids being so stupidly in love with each other is really doing a lot to carry me through this game. I do, however, wish it had a better mapping system so that my OCD could be more easily satiated. I get lost way too easily. It's fun tho, and I hope it doesn't end in tragedy.

If/when Harry Potter stuff comes to Fortnite if you are still playing that game I Will Be Judging You. Fortnite is fun. I've enjoyed playing it over the years.

I've been in a flighty mood and decided to play Haven since I got a free copy at some point. It's got it's flaws, the combat and general interface are clunky for example, but it is terribly cute and horny, and has some fun exploration elements.

Thanksgiving dinner ended up being pretty good, and everyone was really nice, it was just a lot to deal with all at once. Ultimately, however, the drive was more stressful than the event itself (I hate driving at night).

When I was at Physical Therapy yesterday they had Christmas music playing over the speakers. I have no idea why, but I was really bothered hearing it. I used to love Christmas music, but I think I am just far too depressed these days to feel anything positive towards it or the holidays.

#ZZZ is missing a bunch of voicelines in the main story. It feels like they re-wrote things last minute and didn't have time to record the voicelines for it since.

I think Demonschool is a good video game but I think Brandon’s approach to how staff worked together and were credited REALLY deserves a lot of attention. Video game crediting is a stupid black box and transparency will help average people understand these roles.
demonschool credits all 145 people who touched the game over the course of its multi-year dev cycle AND explains what exactly they contributed. the rest of the games industry, which commonly omits people from credits entirely, should be taking notes

Well, that is frustrating. I tried to be a good trans and actually play Celeste, but it wouldn't recognize my controller. Weird. Supposedly it supports the DS4, but it wasn't working.

So yeah, I am enjoying #Demonschool quite a bit. It has definite Persona 1 vibes for me, with a lot of late 90s silliness. The gameplay is apparently very "Into the Breach" which I never played rather than a straightforward tactics RPG. Your mileage may vary with that. Anyways, I like it.
