#HSR Wow, it's hilarious that 3.8 is going to be a Super Break focused patch, but isn't actually fixing Super Break, unless The Dahlia is super cracked and makes Firefly a broken character again. I am dubious, but very interested in pulling for her all the same since I love Firefly.

Hmmm... Not sure what I think of Octopath Traveler 0. You get to customize your character, which is cool, but then you name them and they are silent so every conversation is awkward. The villains are all psychopaths with no nuance or interesting backstory, just pure power hungry, greedy villains.

#Genshin Once again, it's very dumb they had me name a character, in this case Wanderer, since no one calls him by his name and just calls him Hat Guy (except for Traveler in unvoiced scenes). Like, Wanderer isn't even a thing anyone ever says either. It's just always so awkward.

I finished Haven, and I chose to go through with the plan. The ending, while hopeful, also feels ominous to me, like, there is no way this won't have terrifying consequences kind of ominous. But I am prolly just in a bad frame of mind for it. It was a beautiful game, all things considered.

Do they teach this in journalism school? Are there classes where the lesson goes “the way to do headlines is uncritically repeat whatever officials say, regardless of veracity, that’s the job”?
And if they’re not taught that, if that’s not the field’s chosen standard, why do so many editors do it?

News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

In Haven, these two kids being so stupidly in love with each other is really doing a lot to carry me through this game. I do, however, wish it had a better mapping system so that my OCD could be more easily satiated. I get lost way too easily. It's fun tho, and I hope it doesn't end in tragedy.

If/when Harry Potter stuff comes to Fortnite if you are still playing that game I Will Be Judging You. Fortnite is fun. I've enjoyed playing it over the years.

I've been in a flighty mood and decided to play Haven since I got a free copy at some point. It's got it's flaws, the combat and general interface are clunky for example, but it is terribly cute and horny, and has some fun exploration elements.
