I did consider re-doing the logos from scratch to have it say “Street Fighter II Movie” (the Japanese title) but that’s too much work for something so silly. Also, wouldn’t make sense since Alpha clips are in it and they stand out. Overall, not the worst way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Doing some spring cleaning (in the winter) and came across these. These were milestones for Turner Employees that marked our time at the company. Obviously, Turner’s long gone at this point, so I was amongst the final employees to get these. If I find anything else interesting, I’ll be sure to post.

Been a while since I’ve checked in on the iTunes Charts, but Toonami Original, Lazarus, is hanging out in the Top 30. Bonus: one of my favorite shows last year, Women Wearing Shoulder Pads, is in the Top 200.

Just because a title isn’t on a streaming service doesn’t mean it’s lost media, especially if the title is still in-print on Blu-ray or is purchasable on EST service like AppleTV or Amazon VOD.

Yeah, those are heartbreakers, but I do think we’ll get another DOA soon-ish (as far as “soon-ish” means for current day game development). Soul Calibur is dead for another decade at this rate.

That Virtua Fighter number bums me out, but also, that game is 20 years old (REVO is just an update), so hopefully once 6 comes out, Japanese players will flock to that.
SF6 has totally consumed the FGC. I'm happy a fighting game is mainstream again, but the number difference with other FGs is honestly depressing.

Something I just realized with GOG being spun off from CD Projekt and going private, all 3 major PC game stores are privately-run: Valve, Epic, GOG. Not a single public company in-contrast to the console market which is entirely run by public companies (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft).

I looked this up and yeah, the [adult swim] version of Toonami is about 5 months away from holding the record for the longest animation block. It surpassed the Cartoon Network version of Toonami back in 2023. Not bad for a TV block facing an ever changing media landscape.

So this upcoming year, keeping the same goals just doing them better. And I'm gonna add trying not to stress out as much, which seems difficult for literally everyone these days.

So, I'm going to keep that concept in my back pocket for now and do something much less ambitious in 2026 that I think will be much more attainable and build my way up to a different cosplay photobook concept this year and hopefully do the original concept a little bit down the road.

Bluntly, I failed. This was too ambitious, my concept had too many moving parts, it was not going to get off the ground with no reputation as a photographer, which I built up at least a little bit. I got too enamored with film it began to get too costly.

I say technically because I wanted the full amount in my HYSA, but it's split between my bank's savings (for emergency access) and my HYSA. Adding both those accounts together and I did actually surpass that goal. I'd like a bit more in my HYSA though, but I'm still going to count this as a win.
