you need 10 gold to craft one gem and then you use that to reduce the cooldown on your shard maker by an hour which helps you earn more shards so you can buy more coins which you can use to buy crystals which get exchanged for items

What if Splatoon had League of Legends style drafting before playing a set. I wonder if it would change the game much being able to ban away certain weapons and not allowing any duplicate weapons
