It’s not like people aren’t interested in high level teams, there’s just so little presence outside of results. If you have a presence, people will begin to notice. The wider range your presence is (the more platforms you use) the easier it is to be seen.

I mean, we (Stronghold) have a project in the works that talks a bit about it. But overall if teams just made a social media account and posted stuff. Go on podcasts like Popcast, Splat Chat, Cactus Patch, etc. As well as upload content to platforms. I’m sure they would see a spike in popularity.

Most people enjoy fighting the boss, not running a mini gauntlet to get the chance to fight it again. There’s a reason FromSoft added the quick respawns outside boss arenas in Elden Ring. The runback isn’t something that everyone enjoys, enough that the series built around feeling…

Dead honest, this type of stuff is exactly what we need to drum up proper hype in our scene. The average Splatoon competitor cannot name more than 5 top teams, and honestly, that means that a significant majority of teams are not branding themselves well enough.
