Normally I don't post non-Splatoon stuff on here, but substance abuse prevention is very important to me. Substance abuse killed my favorite artist, who has helped me get through plenty of rough times with his music.

would people be interested in something like this? I think it could be a fun and interesting way to assess upcoming talent and to hopefully give them a shot at higher levels of play

it would require a lot of scouting though (in an environment where spectating isn't as easily accessible)

had a really cool idea for something

basically, it would be the comp splatoon version of a "wonderkid" (the soccer/football term for high-potential youth players) list

this wouldn't be based on age, but rather current playing level (likely LI eligible), and would be revisited every 3-6 months 🧵

it's just a graph of every unique score

black = impossible (usually because loser score > winner score)
white = hasn't happened yet
green = has happened at least once

Today marks one year since I joined @upsplatoon.bsky.social! It has truly been one of the best decisions I've made in my Splatoon career, as a large part of my success in the past year wouldn't have been possible (or at least wouldn't have come as fast) without UP.
