this project is set to be out sometime in the next two weeks i'm really proud of it i think its the best thing i've put together i'm excited to have new material out for the first time in over a year i'm so glad i took that time to revise myself and my process and really put out something i love

i tell young musicians all the time that they need to fight the urge to smirk and shit on fellow artists whose work doesn't aesthetically align with theirs. genre exclusivity died in the late 2010s, we are fighting a war against those who don't want either of you to create work period.

i’d also like to say that the non-guitar opus tracks off that first record with crazy horse are severely underrated, the losing end and the title track especially are excellent!

even though neil young’s “down by the river” is about a man shooting his wife in a fit of rage after finding out she cheated on him, i’ve always preferred the interpretation that it’s about a horse with a broken leg being put out of its misery

just my thoughts on the matter! the Massive Vibe Shift with the second trump administration has been really crazy to watch. resentment for the left had been growing through the 2020s with how covid happened and how much RW propaganda was pushed. makes sense there’s a massive shift right.
