I know of rising and setting
I know the pace of a day
though clouds obscure my need,
I follow and wait
for those precious breaks of blue,
a slip of hope
to my ever watchful eyes

if you were worried about me

don't

my roots dig deep
I always find water
and the sun
is as faithful
as my love

I just quaffed
my last sip
but I was still feeling
a bit thirsty
standing in line
for something
I couldn't remember

and I started
reaching out my hand
as if there was
something to hold
I even turned and smiled
but there was nobody there

I was out there
aimless
in the ache
of your absence

That's a good description. It would be hard to come up with a worse example of a human being.

True words. Like I said there is a whole lot wrong with him.

Also people in his orbit are sycophants, I have little trust in their observations. People in Biden's orbit lied about his cognitive decline too.

I don't know though. The dementia is also hereditary and his memory gaps have been significant since his first term serving. There is clearly a lot wrong with him though.

Agreed, although from seeing pictures of his dad he's in far worse shape, so physical health could be diminishing faster. Sadly he'll always have the best doctors.

The more important point is, he clearly has dementia. However long he lives, he's not mentally fit to run anything let alone a country.

Statistically speaking that is quite likely...but I'd prefer something a little closer to maybe 1 month to 1 year. lol

If only he would get in one.

Thank you so much, Allie. I hope you are well. 🙏❤️😊

Yes he did, because he thinks they all got jobs in the private sector. There was a lot of brain drain, many of them are working in other countries by now.

The impacts of these cuts will be felt for a generation or more. The cost of the scientific research that was lost will roll out over years.

I binged on the first 7 a number of years ago...and it was really nice watching them that way for really being able to see the evolution of Scully and Mulder's relationship for each other. Their bond is something easily overlooked when focusing on the paranormal storylines.

midnight came
sublimely dark
against her #pale outline
she found herself
glued to counterpoints
feet on mountain's crown
hands beneath shore pebbles
#blood boiling
in primal caverns
brain catching fire
among the stars
& in her funny bone
tomorrows
keeping their own time

love
I thought I understood
the bones of it
but the variables are many
& I guess
I couldn't keep it all straight

and love just isn't all of life
it's just one thing
the more beautiful it is
the more it can be taken for granted

you can be always learning
& learn too late

how cruel
my fate

my heart
hangs heavy
weakened
fragile

I took for a long while,
life is taking back

but I don't really know
how I can be
in any place too long
and not have you near

I'm okay
with a noble end
but would have preferred
the simple
of wrinkled hands
watching sunsets
& rolling green hills

blood always flows
either within
or without

the skin paling
against the red
a wound unseen

but I will tend to myself
I'll not let these veins go dry

my lamp
gives the light
of lambent hospital night
I've a playlist
for IV

then I'll do an accounting
of all the ways
you made me better

Thank you! I should have added last night. What's definitely true is that a lot of people are angry. They see the system as fundamentally flawed but they've been told to direct their anger at people across the political aisle as they vote in the people pulling the strings and their sycophants.

As a ty for your patience, @cdotjuniper.bsky.social (and @arliden.bsky.social ), I have recovered my Dostoevsky response (I was perhaps a bit generous to term it an essay, 😆).

As you can see I was feeling bit spicy & thus was a bit over-enthusiastic, 😜🤣). In my defense how often does one

about Trump is that his narcissism gets in his way and he ends up doing evil so badly and incompetently, it's like he's giving away the game in the least subtle way. Our ability to video what's happening and exchanging information does help even if there is also propaganda.

So it will collapse /9
