Usually while playing a game you allways end up putting various request and limitations on what the story will entail. Is there something that you would like to try such as trying to see how much "evil" you can be? Was there a time when you asked yourself "should i tone myself down a little bit?"

Before we talked about the limits, now i ask you. Is there a specific detail that makes you interested in a game? is there a choice that can be made that attracts you when picking a game to buy or play?

In-game talk now. Living in the Kaltrich is not a rosy prospect, but you must do what you can with what you have, and I fell in love with the struggles of the characters while they decide if they want to try and make everything else better or think only for themselves.

Hello! We are preparing for new and exciting adventures... AKA new comics fairs. There's a lot to do, to write, to print, and to review. Also, we are trying a new posting table so you will get to know more about the lore and the backstage stuff.

We have finally finished our first comics fair. We didn't have a proper stand, but it was still fun bringing the demo at the tables that were offered. Next time I hope that I can work more on it and bring all the fun stuff that I wanted, like the mega poster.

What would a setting with zombies be without a reanimated dog? Surely we could not miss the opportunity to be part of this tradition. This post is the last one about our demo, but the testing is continuing, and soon we will participate in our first Game Convention!!!

In the demo we put a pretty generic villain, but it's always thrilling seeing how all the people that picked up our game to GM it, always make various kinds of morally gray villains. Be it because they are relatable, struggles or other factors. But sometimes simple is best.

Talking about our Demo, I never posted any of the NPCs. This tanned and healthy individual is one of the characters that the players will encounter. There are various ways to interact with him, and it's fun seeing the various reactions that the players have when they discover one of its secrets.

In these weeks, I've been going in and out of various comics shop to talk about our game and game mastering the demo for the clients. It's quite the satisfaction seeing people so interested in the game that we worked so hard for.

We have a complete map of our base setting! We had a old map made sometime ago but we wanted to change it and make it look much more full, so... after some work that thrilled our artist now you too can see it!!!

Triangle Strategy was another inspiration for our game. We wanted to take note from this one on how the various factions politics between themselves. Thinking on the larger spectrum is easy, but thinking in smaller parties made the game feel like even the small citizens were important.

Fire Emblem is a work that we took in consideration for the geopolitical aspect of our game. We wanted to make a delicate web of politics so that the players could feel the tension in the various cities. To see even the differences between what a civilian and a noble see when gossiping.

When thinking about the characters in our setting, an inspiration was Octopath Traveler. A game where the stories of all the people in it are well drawn, narrated and deep. Where you can lose yourself in their struggles and hopes. I hope that more people play these games and get to know this feeling

While not experts of the works of Mr. Tolkien, we did take inspiration from his works. Specifically, we were inspired by his travels and the perils of the journey that the small groups find themselves in when trying their best to reach a common objective... hopefully for the good of everyone.

Another inspiration is Claymore, creation of Norihiro Yagi. Where the people struggle against monsters and have to rely on shunned women that wield inhuman powers. A theme that we brought in the setting with the necessity to become something different from a human to fight against the rising odds.

When writing this setting, we took obviously some inspirations from various works that we love. One such works was Berserk, the beautiful but gut-wrenching work from the sadly passed away Kentaro Miura. From this, we have studied a system were the illusion of free choice is made evident to the few.

Small trivia in the last character sheet of our demo. As we thought about balancing the different types of ranged weapons, we considered different approaches to make a bow still interesting...in the end, we decided to make it possible to shoot with them as hard as a ballista :)

Usually in fantasy games it can be hard to be a dedicated caster and use some armour well enough, but we love gish characters and wanted to make it possible to play as an ironclad mage from a metal album cover... so...here's an example in our demo. Soon to be tested in some comics shop here in Italy

"Personally, I've always found it funny when the casters need to have a licence to use or study magic. Here in our setting we've made it necessary to study it safely, and by safely I mean without having to watch your back against the magic Secret Service."
