I sadly had the biggest artblock I have ever had this year…
I’m slowly getting back on track enjoying creating art again but I don’t put any pressure on myself to create when I don’t want to.
So I stayed in my comfort zone with birds and tigers 💕

Yeah true but I may have just gotten a client job based on a piece I did before I “got big” and barely got any likes. A piece at the time that was a “failure.” You literally never know what might draw people in.

A chipmunk showed up with a nut, cleaned its tail, and something about it made me paint without thinking too hard. Used QoR watercolors and Pentel water brushes in my A6 Etchr sketchbook. Felt like catching stillness mid-chaos. Like holding your own tail. #sciart

Not only that but they are trying to replace entry level and basic jobs with AI and somehow they didn’t think that would have an impact of the economy? Who the hell is going to buy your goods if you take out all that spending?

I'm tired. We're all tired. This isn't hard to understand. You can't inflate prices of basic necessities like food and housing to ridiculous highs while keeping wages at poverty levels, then act surprised when luxury goods/services and large purchases become unattainable or payments unaffordable.

Spotted this tufted titmouse in Sapsucker Woods a few weeks ago. I didn’t notice the band until I started this piece. Light washes in my A6 Etchr sketchbook with Pentel brushes. I always start with the eye and stop when it winks. Like trying to hold a moment still without hurting it. #sciart #birds
