this year i definitely got closer to some nerds that very much fueled my old passion for biology and astrophysics and they kept enabling me so much that I got addicted to video essays again and it's been amazing.

there was also the professional perspective of it (the whole "i NEED to have an instagram because that's what makes people find my art") but tbh after 10 years of hitting my head against a wall I've understood that I'm just not cut out to be an Artist Influencer

I have a sketchbook which I have labeled as "For me, by me, with love". No criticism. No erasing. No limitations. No censorship. No pressure to show any of it to anyone or post anywhere. It has let me be my most self-indulgent self and it has really helped making drawing more fun again.

I feel like non-monogamy helped me understand this too, people are comfortable in different levels, and each relationship, be it a friendship or otherwise, will have something to offer, and they're all different and they can all still be rich and precious in their own way.
