They took my parent's gardener. They have a very small house in an old folks community but they are in their 80s, they can't do that work. He was literately just getting food at Culver's and got picked up. This isn't making America better, it's just fucked up.

The sears tower can light up with certain colors which is interesting from a marketing point of view, but fucked when you consider it's a way for billionaires to spend a few dozen grand to get a 5 second blurb on the news I've already forgotten

If you ever wonder how terrible the people are in your town, look at your local Facebook groups. A new grocery store just got announced in a poorer area of my town that is more than a mile from any other and everyone is saying how it's going to get robbed and shut down.

Shed continues. It's like a mini house. Next step is literally "put 300 nails in the roof" Vidar bought a special roofing nail gun. We need to get it weatherproofed/shingled before he goes on vacation next week.

We saw Wierd Al last night in Madison. A row behind us was a child that when it came to certain songs he knew every single word and was belting them out. It made the show better in a way.

I met someone today that I was sort of a childhood friend with. 35 years ago.. a cousin in law? It was super awkward and I initiated it and yet I wasn't great at carrying it either.
