9 October 1932 | A French Jewish girl, Rose Aboulafia, was born in Paris.

In April 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Victoria and younger sister Odette. They were murdered in a gas chamber.

I need to find a place to live immediately, enroll my son in school, and figure out childcare. And it all feels extremely overwhelming. I'm feeling empathetic toward the Israelites who complained right after they left Egyp. So more prayers appreciated, I guess. 🕯️

In some good news, I started a new job this week back in Louisville at an autism therapy clinic. I'm excited about the work, even if it doesn't pay much. It's the direction I've been wanting to go for a while. But there's so much that needs to happen now.

In October 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.

2 October 1942 | The SS administration at #Auschwitz issued an order of departure for a 5-ton truck to Dessau for "materials for Jewish resettlement". In Dessau, there was a factory producing Zyklon B, which was used to kill people in gas chambers.
