Just out of interest, has a club ever sacked a manager and simply forgotten to appoint a replacement or even a caretaker?

Why can’t they speak like human beings?

It felt absolutely crazy in the moment, but the law ultimately makes perfect sense. You can't continue the advantage once Haaland fouls Szoboszlai, ref has no choice. Only issue he shouldn't really have needed VAR to see it

All this absurdly unpopular and ineffective rhetoric about the need to treat immigrants like garbage to keep Reform out and it turns out he'd rather a Reform government than step aside for someone who might be able to deliver for Labour voters.

The absolute indignity and classlessness of it all.

Just the 1800s? 🤔
Arsenal now call the Emirates in north London home.

But back in the 1800s, they were based in south London and played in Plumstead.

@dtathletic.bsky.social visited the street where the terraces of their old Invicta ground remain in people’s back gardens.

Today is the first time that Spurs vs West Ham has been a Saturday 3pm kick off since April 2009.

The only two players who played in that game still playing are Luka Modric (AC Milan) and Freddie Sears (Maldon & Tiptree).

I do wish the broadcast football media could attempt some nuance sometimes rather than for example premise that everyone must love the Wrexham story and it is inherently good and good for football rather than that the truth is more complex. Also i dont want to see Ryan Reynolds every 5 minutes.

Hard to believe that the government, led by a former DPP, doesn’t know this. Which would mean, if James is right, that the UK government is turning a blind eye to the production of child porn rather than risk upsetting Musk and the US government. And that would be an extraordinary scandal.
