Great to join the South East Tobacco Alliance as their roadshow visited Surrey. Their region-wide campaign is telling smokers about the mental health benefits of quitting and busting the myths that smoking improves mental health. Lots more to come in the next few weeks

New research has found that duty increases on the least expensive tobacco products, in this case hand-rolling tobacco, would deliver public health gains and reduce health inequalities.

This research supports ASH’s call to close the tax gap between hand rolled tobacco and factory-made cigarettes.

Baroness Merron has written to peers in the House of Lords reinforcing the Government’s position that the Tobacco and Vapes Bill will apply in Northern Ireland.
