Never seen these before. My current research points that this is Cortinarius salor, which is inedible. It also looks like a Mama mushroom with a baby mushroom asking Dad mushroom why is he late for dinner.

Went to the chiropractor today and was surprised to see Slippery Jack next to a two needle pine. I never had it before, leaving it in salted water overnight and will check in the morning if it is something I want to cook. 🍄📷

Found these purple-spored puffballs in the park. Since there was construction in the park earlier in the year, I'm not sure if it was safe to eat. The guide says once it starts to turn yellow on the inside it's not edible. Only later did I realize I was wearing my driving yellow glasses :-)

Ringless Honey Mushroom. White Spore print. Grows on roots and trunks of trees. They are choice edible and need to be left in water for an hour or so prior to preparation then they need to be boiled twice in salted water to reduce the chance of gastro intestinal issues. I like them.

Wood Ear fungus. It is supposedly edible, but I never tried it before. #Fungi

Huge mushrooms in the mulch around apartments' complex.
Based on what I was able to determine these are "False Parasols". In the best case scenario they will make you sick for 3 days, and in the worst case they can cause death. So not worth taking the chance.
